With a host of popular tourist destinations – including Torre Abbey House, Gardens and Park, English Riviera Wheel, Riviera International Centre, Abbey Sands and the Agatha Christie Mile as well as Torquay Harbour with its boat cruises – all virtually on our doorstep, there’s never a shortage of entertainment within walking distance of the guest house.

There are many boat trips available from the pier such as a voyage across the Bay to Brixham, a working fish port with many delicious fish restaurants, or further afield to Agatha Christie’s famous former home Greenways where you can soak up the atmosphere crated by one of Torquay’s most famous residents.

For theatre lovers, the freshly renovated Princess Theatre, offering many West End style productions as well as the opportunity to see some of the UK’s greatest names in show business. The Babbacombe Theatre with its spectacular ‘End of the Pier’ type shows and The Little Theatre offering regular high quality amateur productions.

For those willing to venture a little further afield, it’s just a short drive to Berry Head where wild dolphins can be seen, Dartmoor National Park, Babbacombe, Paignton, Kents Cavern, Goodrington Park, Dartmouth Steam Railway or Cockington Country Park & Village, with Brixham, Totnes, Sidmouth, Teignmouth, The River Dart and the cathedral city of Exeter all accessible within 30 minutes of the guest house.

Less then an hour by car may take you to cities like Exeter with its famous Cathedral, Plymouth with its well known Barbican area or Dartmouth with its Royal Navy history.

All of them may take the whole day of your time to get to feel accompanied with fine dining and beautiful scenery.
